Marko and Tony (@thecritellis) met in 2009, in St. Petersburg Florida - where they both resided. After moving to NYC together, and after being in a relationship for seven years, Tony (finally) proposed marriage, and the two have been happily living in Long Island City in Queens as a married couple, with their 9-year old dog Halo, and 12-year old cat Diesel.
The guys started the podcast after failing (miserably) to find other gay couples to JUST. HANG. OUT. WITH. They noticed a growing trend in gay couples experiencing open relationships or polyamory - none of which are “bad” - all of which are not their relationship model. Relationsh!t was created as a sort of counter gay narrative, showing queer couples that you can expect monogamy from your partner without looking crazy or that you’re defaulting to heteronormativity.
